ha ha esh, good on you, I'm having a relaxed Sunday smile, you're having a red hot go today mate, it's all good fun, I'm in enjoyment mode today - please be gentle with them
Remember, there are a lot of youngsters with L Plates on HC, let's encourage them, and please keep helping them as you usually do, thanks will eventually follow, especially from the smart ones.
My god I made some mistakes when I first started out, and still do. I've called myself an idiot more times than anyone else possibly could have, and it's true.
Now I wish I'd bought more WAF at 23 cents, isn't that always the case.
If there is one major (major) lesson that I have learnt from living in the gold resources bubble in Perth, and having friends and colleagues in "The Terrace" (St Georges Tce), and Subiaco, and West Perth (where I worked) - it's that management is the difference in small caps.
Because the small cap mining space in Perth is infected like a virus, with thousands of rogues, villains, scoundrels, swindlers, brigands, charlatans, tricksters, deceivers, imposters, fraudsters, scammers and criminals. I have a black list, but it is by no means complete.
I have spoken to many of these scum, some who have offered me in to their schemes, but they were bad men, with no conscious, and no decency or morality. I did 3 years of Psychology as part of my 3 degrees at UWA/ECU, and I can tell you for certain that some of them are actual classic Psychopaths.
Let's hope some of the L-Platers on HC learn these lessons quickly.
And so we head into another week, and another crisis or two, as always. I need a holiday, and will soon be taking one, sitting by a pool in the tropics and doing nothing for a couple of weeks.
I think WAF will be ok in the end, not necessarily because of management, but because of the resource and the rising gold price, and the increase in central bank buying of gold.
I hate paper gold, it smacks of illegality and fraud, which is exactly what it is, and once you let the heathens in, the system begins to crumble from inside.
WAF may be sold eventually, but not for the profits we all wanted. Why? Because humans are greedy. It's my humble experience that the buyers will usually do a deal with directors and management, which won't necessarily be written into the takeover documents. Small retail shareholders never got told all the truth.
In the end it doesn't matter if it's gold, Info Tech, Medical, or whatever, the modus-operandi of some small cap managers is similar. I'm hoping WAF will be different. I hope the directors and managers make millions, and in doing so it means that the shareholders make millions, it would be a great result for everyone.
Crossed fingers.
Only time will tell.
Excepting revolutions, I'll stay the course and see what happens.
