My opinion on the chart you present is that it looks like BS....

    My opinion on the chart you present is that it looks like BS.

    Just look at the scales on the left hand side (WAF share price) and the right hand side (Small Ordinaries). There are 3 divisions betwwen 0 and 60 cents on the left hand side and 4 divisions between 0 and 800 on the right hand side. If the right hand side was divided in the same way as the left hand side, ie 3 divisions between 0 and 600 instead of 4 divisions between 0 and 800 (ie scaled in the same linear way) the chart for the Small Ordinaries would be strongly divergent to the WAF chart showing an overall outperformance. I don't know who made that chart but from my first glance it seemed obviously wrong, that type of close correlation over 3 years is just impossible. Please don't fall for it, as it belies average intelligence.
