Pv panels are out now that angle and track the sun.
My bro in law sells elec to the power co....that's 100 %
efficiant to me. He gets far more power than he needs

40 years ago I built an absorber from annealed tube and
copper plate add 2 coats of black paint.....worked like a charm
with a 50 gallon roof model heater .....low medium pressure like
they all should be and this type of heater lasts a lifetime
Dyesol have some thingo absorber that will be used
to ""wrap "" buildings with this idea.

I have a solar HW it uses nothing over the warm weather
that's 100 % to me and I have never touched it.
