    Staff cuts would flag a determination to return to decent profitablity, no matter what ... a rise in sp is generally the norm for companies that announce them.

    I am within the NSW engineering industry ... I can assure you the likes of Aurecon, Aecom, SMEC, Arup, Golder and more have been savagely downsizing for 6-12 months and I don't see it abating any time soon.

    Thats why posted my earlier comments.
