Can anyone provide a reference link to the ASTM nomenclature chart is used to describe coarse flake graphite with the following subjective names:
1. Super Jumbo?
2. Jumbo?
3. Large?
To my knowledge and experience in the graphite powder industry, those terms have NEVER been used when referring to customers specifications...there is only coarse flake with mesh size ranges from +80 to +35 for commercial grade concentrate.
Natural graphite powder is described as coarse, medium, and fines...not much to it, but industry standard jargon.
It appears those subjective descriptions appeared only in the past 5 years or so when all the new start ups began to emerge.
Prior to 2011 - 2012, you will not find those terms used...
I suppose it sounds better when you order a half kilogram steak instead of a 500 gram steak?
