Well it does create a problem in that they have announced they have patent pending technology in their prospectus and that represents corporate value to some degree, as it s an asset.
However it might represent a change in protection policy, possibly from advice from the Executive. That could represent issues with IP protection in the US, maybe conflict with another patent, maybe it is just not patentable, or maybe they have developed a different technique requiring a different patent.
The field for "out of memory" rapid extraction of point cloud is getting very busy, with Euclideon and others being clearly ahead of the game. Maybe Pointerra has developed something that addresses the band-width issue that everyone would be confronted with.
It may not be an issue, but then again it mght be. Surely a Pointerra announcement is required fairly soon as an ASX minimum requirement.
