Agree, the locals want compensation & BCL deny fault & responsibility so they not only can't afford compensation, they have no intention to pay any.

The landowners compensation will come from part ownership of the developed mine which will put cash in their pockets. And also from the environmental restoration of the area which will benefit all & will be an ongoing project when the mine is approved & the ABG & the mine builders have assessed the issues & prioritised the work.

And with that 'expats' article. Since when is explaining to people who own something what they will achieve financially as dividends from that ownership a bribe?

BCL keep trotting out all these new people. First it was Daveona, oh yes he defected. Then it was the Customary Heads guy, & where has he gone now? Now its Sylvester Pisi, how long will he last?
