Maybe it's too subtle for you guys to grasp but Phillip Miriori is the consistent supporter of the Central Me'ekamui JV, the non renewal of BCL's EL, & the involvement of RTG in the re-opening of Panguna.
He is the democratically & unanimously elected chairman of the SMLOLA & has not wavered from his stance for years.

BCL do not appear to any have any consistent supporters, possibly because they see the light & defect, but they are never heard from again. Even one of their top shareholders, the ABG, has deserted if you read & listen to, President Momis.

Anyway, as blackskinpla will attest, this is going to be won on the ground in Bougainville, not in the media with random spokespeople.

It will be decided by strong support from the landowners, the SMLOLA. The ABG now recognise this, which is why they are now talking to the SMLOLA & the SMLOLA leadership team, led by Phillip Miriori, are out communicating with their constituents.

If, in fact, as blackskinpla reports & the 'Expat' article seems to comment on, RTG are on the ground in Bougainville communicating their plans & the benefits that will come to the landowners, I applaud them.
It is where this matter will be won.
