My prospective buyer pool of favourites excluding foreign operators includes, Petrohawk, Apache, EOG Resources, Swift Energy, Exxon Mobil, Conoco Philips, Murphy Oil, Chesapeake, Cabot Oil and Gas and Pioneer.

I'm going with Chesapeake as they have too much shale gas acreage and a huge amount of rigs onshore in the US.
