    Labor does not believe in individuals having the opportunity to better themselves by their own hard work and sacrifice and being rewarded for that.

    Labor stands for a collective level of basic living standards and all other sources of communal wealth being controlled and distributed by the state.

    I worked in a highly union controlled workplace where everyone was remunerated the same regardless of output, from people having extreme low levels of output to those who achieved above and beyond.

    In general high achievers became demotivated as there was no reward for higher performance levels, and they left.
