That comment was in response to @nursery when stated the GST was introduced and under the guise of removing others. Don't twist my words into your argument.
The GST gained assent on 8 July 1999 - so yeah, it's the 90's because @nursery brought it up. Please direct your query to them if you think their post about the 90's is not relevant.
