Private Enterprise that's who, the dads and mums busting their gut week in and week out trying to make ends meet,..paying their staff before they pay themselves . I was at a social on the weekend and I had the occasion to have a chat with a teacher couple. Apparently the super and pension schemes have changed, but this pair are retiring at 57 each with a ~$1million super and a $50,000/annum annuity on top of that. Of course they had a rental property portfoli0 they managed to finagle by manipulating salary sacrifice.

Well at least they were both working and thinking of saving for their future. Everybody was /is allowed to salary sacrifice so they did what was right. The annuity is most likely super money they put away as well.
