Well (see link to open access paper below), we can lay to rest solid state getting too much traction too quickly. It seems this beast can't ne stopped. Hopefully we see some unexpected traction in the storage space this year. Also, with Teslas new purchase we should get another boost in effeciency under $100kwh. Only two years ago i remember it being the 'nirvana'- to get l-ion below $100. I just havent seen a decent arguement about why it won't be exponential (and more) from here on in. With ev's and storage being the cheapest techologies in their field - keeping in mind they are powered by the same graphite laden product - i can only see the cost per pack reducing. The icing on the cake will be if musk really does crack this autonomous driving this year... petrol cars will just be an irrational decision.
