KarmelSonix has new WheezoMeter wholesalers


KarmelSonix Ltd said on April 21 that a number of the major pharmaceutical wholesalers, notably API and Sigma have agreed to include the WheezoMeter in their warehouse and product lines.

This is in addition to pharmacy partner Clear Sales Australia (CSA).

Trials of the PulmoTrack are to commence in tertiary institutions including major teaching hospitals in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as a Children's Hospital and an asthma research institute.

Australian Locum Medical Service in Melbourne which bought WheezoMeters last month, is the first primary care doctor group in the world that will shortly commence clinical usage of the WheezoMeters, providing an on the spot wheeze rate in home calls.

KarmelSonix also announced the appointment of Paul McWilliam as sales and marketing manager. He most recently spent seven years with Tyco Healthcare.

The company has also appointed Michelle Fernandez as Clinical Applications Specialist,. She has over 10 years experience in the pharmacy area, particularly with Roche Diagnostics in the blood glucose/diabetes area.

KarmelSonix also now has an Asian distribution partner network including partners in North, west and east India, South India, Hong Kong, South Korea, China and Taiwan and Indonesia.
