Over the weekend I decided to buy another 10,000 KSC, and when I looked this morning, there seemed no need to do so in a hurry. When I looked again at about 3:10, it seemed that the worm had turned, so I ordered 10,000 at $1.89.

Anyhow, the order was filled as follows:

3:20:16 PM 1.890 - - 132 - -- $249.480
3:13:15 PM 1.890 -- - 29 - - - $54.810
3:13:03 PM 1.890 - 9,839 - $18,595.710

I now hold 40,732 KSC shares in my SMSF portfolio. I expect to get about 10% yield (including franking credits) from this recent purchase, and I suspect the SP will inch its way towards $2.20 in time. I am a bit biased towards stock that I already own on the basis that I do not want to hold too many, and because I know the stock, having held since about 2007.

I'll now do no more than simply watch the situation.

I think the lack of broker coverage has tended to obscure what the 2013 EPS and DPS is going to be, and hence the recent slide in the SP. Remember though, it was not long ago that directors took up DRP entitlements at $2.31.
