Ambassador Oil and Gas Limited’s (ASX: AQO) Kruger 1 oil exploration well has reached 1189 metres in the main section of well. The target horizon, the basal Birkhead/Hutton is expected to be intersected later this week.
Kruger 1 spudded at 12:00 hrs on the 23 Jul 2012. At 0600 30 July the rig was drilling 8-1/2” main hole at 1189 metres after setting 9 5/8” surface casing at 658 metres.
So far all going to plan.
