The most important thing at this stage is cash on hand. Market Cap is practically irrelevant!!!
You said it yourself, if they land a deal the company survives, if not, it's all over! But even if a deal is inked, it could potentially be months (even years) before any financial benefits are realised.
With the June quarter expenditure factored in, current cash balance is approx $2.9m which will provide working capital for another 6-7 months.
With the recent rise in SP, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Company Presentation announcement soon followed by a cap raise shortly thereafter.
