Jesus, I used to have these arguments with posters 10 years ago . . . . there are a few factors for why this asset has never been mined. Why only a scoping study has only been completed. Why no-one, even the Chinese have stepped in to buy or at least JV the project. It's not simply a commodity price issue. I reviewed the scoping study from back in 2010. AAR are so confident in this study, it no longer shown on the website.
Both Onedin and Santiago require different processing routes, youre right, nothing overly complex. My mistake and apologies.
If you feel Koongie factors in to the SP, or can be monetised in the future good luck to you. Personally I like the gold story. Right neighbourhood (Kalgoorlie), right geology. Close to existing infrastructure should they fins something economic. Compare and contrast to Koongie if you will.
