Like MIMs Macarthur River sulphide deposit back in the late 60s, was massive but was not feasible at the time because technology was not sufficient to allow smeltering. The problem being that the massive sulphides were so fine that any smeltering technique at the time would have only destroyed any minerals in the process. This problem was overcome in the late 80s and resulted in a very large mine. So what are the metallurgy problems with Koongie Park ?
