Sydney - Friday - March 6: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Kilgore Oil and Gas (ASX:KOG) reports that Snipe will be completed as a
discovery well with gross proven reserves in the order of 4 BCF (Kilgore
post completion working interest of 11.25%).
The well will be cased and cemented and the Hercules 152 drill
rig has now moved to an additional target, Egret, and has commenced
drilling. Kilgore also has a post completion working interest of 11.25%
in this typical Gulf shallow, seismic amplitude prospect with gross
prospective resources in excess of 9 BCF.
If Egret is a discovery well, it will be completed together with
Snipe, and will flow from the same platform. If Egret is a dry hole,
Snipe will be completed and put into production.
Production under both scenarios should commence early in
the third quarter of this calendar year.
