Not many shares available, it is true. Much easier to get them on the Toronto exchange.
But if Kirkland Lake goes into the Pilbara gold play in a big way I would expect a lot of new shares to be created through this counter as takeover currency.
Otherwise, why have such a small float - even the current Australian operations justify a bigger market cap, especially as they seem to be performing well.
