I shouldnt post after I've been drinking !! That "horses mouth" comment came across pretty lame, even though I have had some interesting communications re the play ..... I just got a bit carried away when the latest news verified my suspicions ..... Apologies again for sounding like a tosser!

ps This current deal between Hilcorp and KKR does verify the value of the eagleford, but whether that will translate into value for the ADI S/H's remains to be seen.
Just for the record, those with the conspiracy theory on AWE collaborating with Goldman Sachs might be interested to know that Thomas Hook, the original CFO of Hilcorp, and partner of Jeff Hildebrand, used to work in the Housten office of accounting firm "Arthur Andersen" (anyone remember Enron!!) for none other than ..... you guessed it .... Goldman Sachs! ... Draw your own conclusions on what possibilities that presents.
