I was contemplating (dreaming) if iter is estimated to weigh 5,116 tonnes and I would imagine that the, the protective curtain that the previous article talks about. How many tons of V would be needed, my guess would be a lot.
Obviously fusion has a long way to go before it reaches commercialisation, if it ever does. But does go to show that uses of Vanadium and even Fluorite may have many uses in the future that haven't even been imagined of yet.
