The problems Tony Barton is facing [and all companies] with regard to ASX and releases and complying with requirements is exactly why myself and my associates quit Fund Management and gave up our Securities licences some 15 yrs ago.
Compliance was "even then" so onerous that it tied your hands, made representing the facts and truth impossible all in the name of protecting the big Banks and Funds who gave very little profits to shareholders.
The amount of work you had to go through to keep them [licences] was not worth it.
