Hello jake,
MOS like CUE are downplaying the whole thing because they are embarrassed with what has happened...

MOS's stake is about 80BCF (with upside) which when converted to BOE comes to 14.57 million barrels of oil (BOE)...
so for a 9 million fire sale (plus change), MOS has realised a small sum for 61c equivalent per barrel...
This is why Strachan had the 100 million dollar price tag on this project for MOS...
with development of entire region, effectively means these are not stranded assets...
this is why it is such a disaster...

There will be alot of confused oilers around right now... I am one of them...

MOS was a great long term company before today...
disaster...
