Shrewdie, i can say that when the CEO of MOS left about a year ago, I was chatting with a Director, and asked him what he thought the value of MOS share of Kimu was. He told me it was in the books at Nil (which was wrong, because I recall reading it was $600k), but he gave me a guesstimate of $500k for the value of MOS share of Kimu !!
SO really, MOS was putting very little mgt time into that investment.
I think the guys at CUE are sharper than MOS on the LNG stage, and they may in fact get a higher price for their share.
Did you notice that Kimu sale got no mention in the CUE Qtrly report out today?
MOS is in for an exciting time - if they can get these fracs working, then those wells will be highly profitable.
Confusingly, MOS is hugely undervalued imho.
