Reading through the 2018 KNL AGM presentation I noticed company decided to add an extra slide where it talks specifically about "Debt Financing". Interesting that slide included a timeline, with KNL now targeting end of Q1 2019 to finalise issues with Tanz Govt, KfW and legal team.
Been a long time coming, but get sense an accommodation will be reached to get project into development. After all, KfW funding fully backed by Equator Principles with social responsibility towards Tanzanians baked into Epanko prior to legislation changes.
Pretty sure the country wants to encourage that kind of investment and see KfW's patience and tact going long way to resolving outstanding issues re:funding criteria. A German Govt. controlled bank ensuring strategic graphite supply for their country's industry at attractive interest rates to KNL and creating jobs in Tanzania should make outcome a win-win for all parties concerned.
