Hi Ahjay, This approval was in relation to its use for lung cancer in lieu of chemotherapy, but I thought it relevant regarding immunotherapy's general acceptance as a mainstream alternative treatment to conventional cancer treatments. My wife had chemotherapy about 5 years ago (she's alright now) and anything that can treat cancer effectively without the extremely detrimental side effects of chemo will benefit millions of people.
