Crikey, I did not expect such a light presentation.
........in fact comparing the 2009 presentation against this year, they certainly did not put much time and effort into this years presentation IMO.
Apart from the obvious reduction in slides from 34 in 2009 to a paltry 13 this year, you could be mistaken to think we had a 1.75% interest in Tanzania and a 20% interest in Suriname. It is quite obvious that KEY management have put our KN#1 gas discovery into the too hard basket, and this year have decided to not even promote this project with the commercialisation plans, sales, etc.
Crikey, Tanzania appears on the third last page, amazing to think that this was meant to be the biggest discovery in 25 years in Tanzania according to Aminex. Last year, the first project slides you saw was Tanzania.......7 pages on it to be precise. This year UK, Italy and even Suriname is placed in front of our Tanzanian assets in terms of discussion priority.
IMO, they are clearly sending a message that progress in Tanzania is a long long way off, and that our UK and Italian assets are now the focus.... and our 1.75% interest in Suriname
Cheers R
