On the contrary... NAV didn't have a brass razoo to do any plant upgrades. Instead they ran her into the ground - especially the crushing circuit. So much so they had to bring in mobile contract crushing at the end which is probably the $$ spend your referring to. The current Bronzewing comminution circuit configuration is not designed for hard ore like Cockburn. Pretty easy to fix up though with a few $$ thrown at it. NAV on the other hand were drowning (hard ore, low grade and no cash in the bank) and when your drowning your not focussed on the long term - you're just fighting fires day to day. Echo have a plan, they're taking their time to execute and if they follow it, will be very successful.
