In 2009 Keith Wells cost the company $257,719 in salary, super and benefits and he owns 3,421,535 shares and 3,275,000 options in TMX. In 2009 the non exec directors cost between $9,000 and $33,000. (These data are taken from the 2009 annual report).
One would have thought that the share and option package would be enough to motivate KW and have him drilling every sensible target he can but this does not seem to be the case; with the Directors seemingly content just to draw salaries etc.
With gold booming and base metals picking up and funds in the kitty, the lack of action by TMX can only be described as extreme apathy.
