True - there are competitors out there. And some have been out there for a lot longer than Spacetalk has been on the market. But you have to ask why it is that bricks and mortar retailers are not stocking them. To my knowledge none of the others are available in stores (with the exception of Xplora in South Korea - I think - but happy to be corrected) Surely the other companies would love have more outlets for distribution. Retailers have to stand behind their products. If they are not confident in it, they will not stock it. If it causes too many headaches, they will remove the offering from their stock. Speaks volumes that we have three bricks and mortar retailers in Aus and NZ, and are soon to add to that number in the UK. It really is "best of breed". A lot of talk about battery life. Not sure what people are expecting. I would expect to charge a device like this daily. I would not think that our "competitors" have the edge on us in this department - and by competitors I mean those that have a comparable functionality of gps tracking, call and text capability.
