    No it's one for one.

    If you spend $1,000 at 0.001 per option you would have one million. You would then need to fork out about $0.005 or $5,000 to convert these into shares.

    At current prices you can simply buy one million shares for $4,000, saving you $2,000 in the long run...the difference is the option premium.

    Whilst it maybe cheaper to buy the million shares in the end, considering in future terms, the difference is the gearing to the price movement to shares is about 4/1.

    Much riskier...especially for a noob, but it's you money; so best of luck.
