Good to see these comments. And good to see they are going to get power off the grid. The article says discovery metals went into liquidation because they were running off diesel power and recoveries of 40%.. but I think it’s mainly those lower recoveries from the oxide ore which requires SX/EW. I think MOD will be comfortably profitable on diesel power though grid power will help lower costs.
The article also says the cupric canyon/ khoemacau mine will be producing 3.6mt Cu pa - which is throughput not production.
