I agree with your assesment regarding Gus' failed expansion plans. Lance was always enough. This is a small scale version of Paladin in my opinion - expansion too quickly requiring mountains of debt. Purchases that ultimately destroyed value - Summit, Michelin and others.
I'm intrigued to understand the Areva requirements as far as the sale of Karoo is concerned. Hopefully someone will ask this question of Wayne.
