I think the problem is that most people whom you would want on the board would take one look at it and walk away, because if they were any good they would probably be in a well-rewarded position within another public company.
Which brings me on to the comment made in the article “He said the new managing director would have a strong IT background and experience with IPOs in the US”
Which means to attract someone of a good calibre RMA would have to offer megabucks, and probably as golden parachute to attract them to come from the US to Australia.
As to Alistair I have no comment to make on him, I do know him quite well, for a number of years.
