So Starpharma an ASX 300 company received a complete response letter from the FDA which has at the moment denied approval for SPL’s most important product in its most important market.

But SPL management don’t know what the letter means !!! So 11 weeks later (almost 3 months), SPL management still wait for a phone call from the FDA granting them a meeting (sometime in that the future mind you) to discuss the contents of the letter and the way forward.

So SPL now also say that it will be a couple of weeks after this yet to be confirmed meeting (when they have received hard copy meeting notes) that they will be able to update the market.

Let’s say the FDA contact SPL in 2 weeks to set a meeting. Best case scenario is the meeting is to be held 4 weeks later (most likely a lot longer). SPL then wait 2 weeks for hard copy meeting notes. That makes 9th of May the absolute earliest SPL shareholders will be given any clarity on this monumental screw up.
