MA previously told me the ATO suggested 2 to 8 weeks from the date of lodgment of the ruling. The ruling was lodged after settlement of the sale. Therefore, if we assume it was lodged 1 July, then I expect the ATO to take the full 8 weeks, which means the end of August for a result.
Having said that, the ATO is extremely incompetent, so 8 weeks is no guarantee either....
