from what I can make out (and I would be happy to be corrected) is that the township of Muttaburra is about 50ish kilometres from Alma-1. This is a lot closer than either Winton or Longreach. As rotten luck would have it they had 27 mills (about an inch) of rain on April 27th which no doubt is the rain delay that was spoken of. There was about 5 inches in March all in about 4 days just past the middle of March.....and the really good news is that there has been no rain at all since April 27th and no rain forecast. All going well the spud really will go ahead this weekend.

This is a brutal market and it doesn't take kindly to deadlines not being met....but somethings things really are out of the control of the company.
