"Riversdale Receives EIS Approval in Benga Coal Project
Riversdale is pleased to announce that following completion of an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) in mid 2009 the Ministerio Para a Coordenazao Aczao Ambiental (MICOA) has granted approval for the project to proceed.
MICOA is the regulatory authority for environment within the Government of Mozambique. The EIS approval is in respect of Riversdales long term plan for a 20 million tonne per year coking and thermal coal project in Tete Providence, Mozambique.
