There are those who chase the short term rises and those who invest.
Short term positions are exactly that – ‘jump in’ - cover the spread and make a few percent – then jump out and repeat elsewhere.
The volume of shares being traded indicate that it’s the ‘froth’ that is making the short term price – not the investors who hold the majority share holding.
'Froth' tends to evaporate if no news for a few weeks to stir the 'excitement' up - watch the froth reappear upon further news.
