Jubilee chairman buys shares Wednesday, October 16, 2013
Colin Bird, non-exec chairman of Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP), has bought shares in the company worth over £28,000.
Bird bought 665,188 shares at an average price of 4.25p, a brief statement said. He is now interested in around 1.32% of the company's capital.
Earlier this month, the company said its Tjate Platinum Mine project had been brought one step closer to progressing, with the receipt of the acceptance of its Mining Right Application.
The firm's subsidiary, Tjate Platinum Corporation is consulting with the Department of Mineral Resources to agree on the timing and deadlines for submission of a scoping report and, separately, an environmental management Programme.
The project been independently appraised to contain a potential net 70 million ounces of PGMs [platinum group metals] and gold.
