Granted underground mining is more expensive and dangerous, but in situations where high-grade ores are concentrated in narrow veins and that are not too far from the surface (200-300m - productivity wise) it can prove to be just as economical with modern technology as you said.
Alas, the IGV I calc'd on zinc was at 84c at the low end of a 6% grade, so I guess if zinc was up 20-30c then it would be create more excitement. I believe a firm JORC is targeted for the end of January FY12 but we will get the estimated JORC this or next week.
Still lots in the pipeline starting to move forward with KZL. I'm getting excited. I don't know what happened to the good old days when people got excited if you put a drill in the ground.
