You may find once they started looking into it they have found more issues, four months+ seems a long time to get it worked out especially as they are not in production.
Non disclosure of mining contractor status, AXIS relationship with other companies, funding arrangements, amongst things that may have attracted attention.
Not forgetting my favourite "green" diamonds, surely if you make a price sensitive announcement stating the diamonds are to be evaluated by experts it should be followed up with an outcome,were they true green diamonds, have they been sold?
