I think calling the company would be a waste of a phone call as i don't believe Ken really has a current structured business plan considering the fact that last month he was in Sydney presenting the merits of the companies projects including Tanzania.
Correct me if i am wrong but haven't KEY stated that they will not be drilling in Italy until at least next year?
There is no guarantee that the drilling will be successful, in fact there is a far greater prospect, unfortunately, that they will initially find a dry well, lets hope that is not the case but statistics would confirm that fact.
Whereas Tanzania has allready proven successful (KN#1)and further drilling has a very high possibility of increasing their reserves of gas and potentially, an oil strike.
Unless Ken can negotiate an extremely high price for the sale of the Tanzanian project i am convinced that all shareholders will be far worse off.
However due to Ken's reluctance to keep his shareholders informed all my comments are purely speculative.
He has failed dismally to give a full explanation of the problems KEY are facing in Tanzania and as shareholders who have invested large sums of money into the company, including his lucrative salary package, we deserve better.
If you doubt my comments re bringing projects into production in Italy just check into the time frame it has taken PO VALLEY to bring their Italian project into production.
Whichever way KEY decide to now go forward we shareholders will have a very long wait ahead of us.
