Is current situation a 'win/win' for Aussie farmers? If you sell next November's harvest now, you may have to buy grain elsewhere at a higher/much higher price. So is there any point in selling forward? Selling at/after harvest means you at least know yr crop size and if higher prices prevail its a win all round. Other side of coin is prices drop between now and November. Feel that's a small chance of happening. AUD could remain strong throughout.
