They also did some interim funding so probably another $2M on top of that..

I believe the US Bankruptcy Court is overseeing the process and is happy.
Yes the Directors did get paid... the court approved it and Castlelake paid for it.
How much is the Marion asset worth?
Stuff all... It was always worth very little in my view. A lot of people were spun an optimistic story which was vaguely achievable, but very unlikely

The fact that Marion spent over $100M and got nowhere probably means its worth less now than it was before... Before they drilled it had potential... Now that they have drilled they have proved that it doesnt...

Price of gas remains low.. lots of producing marginal properties up for sale...
Who would want to buy a marginal non producing property, and then have the cost of plugging the old wells that Marion didnt plug..

At current gas prices I expect it is not saleable or will go for less than $10M if some fool reads marions ASX announcements
