Thought I would post the link to the thesis I found a while back on the Kalahari Copperbelt...
A lot is pretty dry reading, but even with basic geology experience you can skim through and pick up a lot of information about this region..
Particularly what I gathered is why this area has so much potential, but due to the calcrete layer, why some of the go to exploration methods aren't particularly suited to this area.
If MOD's EM surveys turns out to be the master key for copper discovery in this type of geology, it really is game changing for the whole region. And is incredibly exciting to find value in ground that has been overlooked for a long time simply because of the type of geology...
Anyway, if anyone needs more MOD info while we await news flow to start,,, it's a pretty interesting read, even just skimming through.
