Ok then.
So you'd know parents drop off their kids at primary school. The school gates get locked. And the parents pick the kids up.
As the kids get older, say grade 4. Sure you might let them walk to school. But even with a phone ban there's nothing to stop the kids having a phone on to and from school.
I like the watch idea. But I wouldn't go pinning all hopes to an in school ban on phones.
