I take your point. I would say it will be used less. I would not use the dead word just yet. I cannot see the admirals giving up nuclear anytime soon. And when nuclear is in use daily in the fleet whatever technology eventually pushes fossil use off the mainland had better be both reliable and cheap - or they will turn again to nuclear.
